ST. JOSEPH - The Bob Symon Memorial Handball Tournament was held Jan. 10-12 at the St. Joseph YMCA and garnered extensive local press coverage. The event, which began in 1972, honors Bob Symon, who played handball at the St. Joseph Y three times a week for 50 years and was jointly responsible for construction of the first regular-size handball court at the old Y. Thanks to Joe Gray, Pat Kirby, Jim Cosentino and Jerry Adkins.
