You
again had a very successful tournament. Close matches in all
categories a sure sign of a very good tourney.

I
would like to thank Jon Symon for coordinating the revival of
the Bob Symon Memorial Handball Tournament at the St. Joe YMCA
(Missouri), and for operating a class act tournament. It was
a class act and it was the best event in which I have participated
during my years of handball. In my opinion, that is how every
tournament should be conducted. Everything was great: the facility,
the facility staff, the coverage, the competition, the friendliness
of the people, the hotel accomodations, and seeing Pat Kirby
again. I have not been able to say enough about it to all of
my handball comrades in the Twin Cities. I would be honored
to compete in the Bob Symon again. Thank you, Jon.

Let
me be the first to point out to everyone that Matt Hiber was
way too humble. He didn't mention the fact that he beat myself,
Tommy Little and Dessie Keegan in route to winning the tournament.
Congrats on a great tournament Matt. Notice to the handball
community. They are reviving a top notch tournament in St. Joseph.
They have excellent courts and the draw was one which featured
the top seed, Dan Armijo winning a very exciting 11-10 tiebreaker
in the first round over Joe Hagen. Every division had a cash
prize. Look for this tournament next year, it is only going
to get better. It drew players from Canada, Ohio, Chicago, Minneapolis
and New Mexico not to mention some that I have forgotten. At
any rate, congrats on a good weekend of
handball. |

What
an honour it was to be invited to your tournament and to be
considered your friend. There's more to a tournament than just
winning; I had a great experience renewing old acquantances
and meeting new handballers. You had all the bases covered,
what a great weekend. |

I can truthfully say that I have never
been to a handball tournament, or any other event, where I have
felt more wanted. You guys go all out in making every individual
who attends your tournament feel that they are personally welcomed,
and part of your family. To me, going to a handball tournament
is about meeting and competing with friends from around the
midwest and the greater country. Down in St. Joseph, you have
made it possible for Joey and I to share a weekend with friends,
play handball, eat great food, and watch top players compete.
Keep up the good work, and I can promise that the Bob Symon
Memorial Handball Tournament will continue as long as you want
it to. You have all the ingredients for this tournament to become
one not to miss, and I look forward to returning in '06. Thanks
for the good time. |

Thank
you for the invitation to participate in the 2005 Bob Symon
Memorial Handball Tournament. Several new players participated
in this year's tournament. It was fun to participate and observe
excellent handball contested by players from across the country.
The bobsymon.com web site is an excellent information source.
From first round match times to the brackets with the final
results, it was a convenient way to stay informed. Keep it
going. Also, congratulations to Scot on coaching the first
International Champion in the 1 and Under Age Division, Brady
G. Symon. Thanks again for the invitation, opportunity, and
great hospitality. Please share my thanks with the others
on your committee who made it happen. I look forward to participating
in the future.

Thank
you for bringing the Bob Symon Memorial Handball Tournament
back. It was and is great to have the tourney again. I thought
the tourney was a huge success. Great competition, fellowship,
and a fun banquet. Looking forward to 2004. |

Many
thanks to you and your committee for hosting a wonderful Bob
Symon Memorial Tournament. It's always easier to write when
you win - but win or lose - it was a great time and a well-run
event! Thanks to you, Jerry at the YMCA, Jim Cosentino and all
who made it a good weekend. Hope to see you next year.
